If There Were No Schools On This Earth

Can you even imagine a scenario like this?

So, painfully dangerous on the part of parents, but of course, amazing for children.

All children would be so happy — no studies, no homework, no scolding from parents, only playing.

Imagine life would be sorted-no exams, no competition, no tension, no expectation from parents to get good scores.

Many kids would be happy to not have to wake up early in the morning, get ready, go to school, and learn about pointless subjects.

Although students would be a lot happier without any schools if there were no schools, we would not have friends. Hanging out with friends on the weekend and joining sports games make a teenager’s life.

Without school, most people would not have a social life. Although most students would agree the world is a happier place without schools, parents would most likely disagree.

Parents would worry about down the road life journey and without schools how would a student gain knowledge and education? Without education, life would be extremely difficult how would they earn money?

For example, how would anyone buy a house, if there were no architects or construction workers? Is it possible to get a job if you have no experience or understanding of that field? Most likely not many jobs would be available because that specific job would not be created if people did not go to school, learn, educate themselves, and put themselves on the field.

This is one part of the story.

If there were no schools, parents definitely would worry about their children's future.

But don’t worry.

We can still educate them.

Ask me how?

Home-schooling :)

Do you think only schools can educate our kids?

No, even parents can educate our children too.

Think it in this way.

When you yourself educate your child, that increases your bonding, if bonding is good the child will not hesitate to ask you his/her doubts.

Expenses like school fees, van fees, other miscellaneous expenses would be saved.

Most important your child's scores would not be compared with other students. So, he won’t feel guilty that I scored so less as compared to my batchmates or friends. Know that this would keep your child’s mental health good.

Children would have to learn subjects which they are not interested in, in schools. Moreover, I hope that my kids are taught the skills mentioned below in primary school:

1)Critical thinking

2)Creative thinking

3)Communication skills

4)Ethics (which helps in collaboration)

5)Yogic living

6)Storytelling

7)Mental Fitness

8)Importance of healthy eating

9)Martial arts

10)Bhagwat Gita (easy learnings)

All life skills

What do you think about this?

If there were no schools on his earth- another way to teach your child is nature schooling.

As we all know nature is the best teacher. There is so much to learn from nature. Day to day morals that we need in real life can be learned from nature.

Here one’s from my own window garden…

Image: Wheatgrass from my window garden

Seems like this lump of soil wanted to take the aerial view.

Just to see how much potential it has to grow seeds into saplings, saplings into plants.

Likewise, we humans should also look within how much potential we have to grow into our better versions. Because playing small is not going to serve this world.

Tapping into our highest potential to see how much we can achieve can be the only way forward.

Wheatgrass giving life lessons :)

This is what I can take from this wheatgrass.

But there is much more to learn from nature.

What do you think about home-schooling and nature schooling?
